The Alpenhotel Schlüssel enjoys a central location, a 5-minute walk from the Andermatt Train Station and the Gemsstock ski lifts. It offers free Wi-Fi in the rooms and public areas, free parking and rooms with balconies. Thomas and the entire staff were super friendly. Ski room with boot dryer wall was great. Breakfast was great. Room was great. Location midway and easy walk to both sides of the resort.

All rooms in the Gästehaus Schäfli offer views over the Reuss River and the wooded Alpine surroundings. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire building. Breakfast was AMAZING, staff were so nice, and gorgeous. They allowed us to store our luggae while we hiked. The asparagus soup was to die for. 10/10. Cable car discount for staying here too.

This property boasts a real swiss atmosphere, from the cozy rooms to the excellent dining experience, you’re guaranteed to have a memorable experience. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are some of the most hospitable individuals I’ve had the pleasure to meet on my travels in Switzerland and they made sure my stay was both comfortable and stress free. If you have not planned to do so, I can wholeheartedly recommend having lunch in their restaurant - they serve some very tasty dishes from reasonable prices, I can assure you they will have you full and ready to hit the slopes, or the party if you’re like me. I plan to stay again sometime in the future and would be happy recommend to any of my friends.

Hotel & Restaurant zum Schwarzen Bären is located at the entrance to Andermatt. In the winter it is walking distance to the Gemsstock cable car station where the ski bus stops that takes you to the Nätschen Gondola station. Further, it is a 2 min walk to the center of town where you can find all necessary services. Room was spacious. Bed very comfy. Modern bathroom. Place quiet and relaxing. Daniel at reception very helpful and kind.
