Hotel Altiplanico Puerto Natales has comfortable rooms styled with natural fabrics featuring splendid views of the bay. They are equipped with heating, safety deposit boxes and private bathrooms with showers. We arrived to the hotel after 10pm on New Years Eve after trekking in Patagonia. Thoroughly exhausted, as soon as we arrived the staff welcomed us, asked if we wanted any late night food, got us set up, and had a NYE party ready to go for guests. The welcome honestly blew us away since we had no way to communicate how late we were getting back. They were so accommodating and the rooms are more beautiful than the photos indicate (and the photos are stellar). Highly recommend.

Welcome to an icon of Punta Arenas with years of experience, Cabo de Hornos Hotel is an icon of the capital of Patagonia. It stands in the historic center of the city as a guardian and witness of the history of Punta Arenas and its cultural heritage, being a fundamental part of its development. I think the beds in this hotel must be the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast was excellent, with all the options you may like and service was great.

The location is superb with beautiful surrounding, will go back definitely.

The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.
