This hotel is located in a residential area, close to the main business and commercial centres of Barranquilla. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with sun deck and free Wi-Fi. - The staff were so nice and made me feel so at home here. They always carried bags for me and helped me when I needed to find somewhere to eat, an envelope & folder for something, stuff to write on, also getting water with ice several times. Shout out to Javier in the restaurant, Richard and Brendan on reception. I only got their names but everyone working there was super receptive and helpful. - my room was also perfect. Just what I was hoping for after doing a very intense training course nearby, this room had AC, extremely comfortable and cosy beds (soft mattress, pillows, and really nice sheets), private balcony with a good view across Barranquilla towards the river and good for people watching, wardrobe space, a mini fridge, space to practice yoga, and a table and chair. Exactly what I wanted. - the pool was nice too! A bit too sunny in the day but good for afternoon swim. - the breakfast was great, could do with making the scrambled eggs vegetarian everyday because they put ham in the eggs many times :( - the dinner menu has vegetable pasta which looked and tasted good but it was served tepid/not that hot which was a bit disconcerting. Luckily I was fine! - the bar was carnival themed and had nice music where I waited and had a beer while waiting to check in, but the colours are a bit much maybe could be less flashing lights
