Located in Providencia on the island of Santa Catalina, this beachfront inn offers scenic ocean views. Fort Warwick is just 5 minutes’ walk away. We had a wonderful stay! Francisca was exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to help with everything we needed. The house is perfectly situated in a quiet neighborhood with a stunning view. Boasting a sun deck area with direct ocean access, Cabanas Agua Dulce also offers an outdoor swimming pool. Rooms have private balconies with hammocks. Agua Dulce Beach is 500 metres away. The cabanas are lovely, set in a nice garden with even a pool that is useful after a day at the beach. The interior of the cabanas is basic but they are clean, spacious, with fridge and air conditioning and an outdoor space. The staff is friendly and helpful and the included breakfast is good and complete. I had read negative reviews and honestly don't see the point. The beach in front no longer exists because of the hurricane that hit the island a few years ago, the bar/restaurant La Terrazza in front offers sunset views and really good cocktails. Providencia is still an island little exploited by mass tourism, but there is a lot of restaurants , especially on the beach, really nice and good, with delicious fish and lobster. There are sunflies and mosquitos but with a good repellent they are kept away 😉
