Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Hotel Isla del Sol is located on Isla Grande Island in the Rosario Islands archipelago. It offers on-site water sports and a private beach area. Isla del Sol is absolutely beautiful. It is a small boutique hotel with a very chilled vibe. It is situated in a magnificent bay with a small beach and lovely pool area. Most of the construction and decor is from natural materials, which adds to the relaxed feel of the resort. Our room was large as was the shower, and all was very clean. (A kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room, would have been nice.) There are more deck chairs than people, so there is no race to reserve a chair in the mornings. 200m offshore, there is a cute, rustic pontoon bar and we enjoyed kayaking there each day for a delicious pina colada. As we were there during the holiday season, there were loads of boats parked in the bay, which added to the atmosphere. The food menu had a large selection and on the most part, was very good. The pool bar served a yummy pina colada. :)

We loved everything about this property!!!! I really feel that we chose the absolute best resort on the island. I cant say enough good things about this place. The pool and the stunning views were incredible. The room was clean and updated. The included breakfast was phenomenal! My husband appreciated that there was snorkeling from the shore with a great variety of fish to see. I really loved diving off the floating pier at the enchanted lagoon. We were able to swim at night with the bioluminescent plankton; it was sooooo awesome! The staff were all so nice to us. We want to give a special shout out to David who really made our stay fun! Oh, and having the dive shop on the property was definitely a plus. We booked a dive with them at the last minute - they even took some friends of ours too on an ‘into to scuba’ dive. We had a blast!!

The location is beautiful, just the perfect spot to enjoy the Caribbean sea. The restaurant is nice, the beach chairs are comfy and the transportation went smoothly. What really makes this hotel stand out though is the staff: I’ve never met a more engaged, professional, and kind team. We’ve felt exceptionally well taken care of. My friend unfortunately required medical attention, which could have been a problem on an island like this, but the hotel immediately supported us with dedicated medical staff, a doctor on the line and everything at hand to help her feel better. Especially Erika made our stay really special, making sure we always had everything we needed for the perfect vacation. Thank you!

We came as a family with 2 small children and we all loved it. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely new pool which the children loved and great views. Our room was clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was great. We were going to go to an all inclusive and decided to go to Aura instead. I'm soooooo glad we did this.
