OREA Resort Horizont Šumava is located on the southern slope of Pancíř Hill. It offers an indoor swimming pool and a terrace with panoramic views. Wellness facilities can be enjoyed free of charge. The hotel is located in a beautiful region. Despite the fact that it was full of tourists, everything was very calm, organized and silent. We could rest very well without being disturbed. The Czech people are welcoming, respectful, friendly and utmost helpful. The food was fresh, tasty and we were served a variety of dishes every day. The hotel interior has a pleasant design with comfortable and big rooms, and it is spotless everywhere. It is perfect for families with children as there are specific activities and playgrounds, also two very friendly alpacas.

Residence Lipno is set in Lipno nad Vltavou, 1.8 km from Lipno Dam. The nearest beach is 200 meters from the property. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. Quiet place, a bit aside from the Lipno central attractions- just 4 min ride, looks safety for kids, villa was equipped well, really clean, no wash machine in there, but it is presented as a self service near the reception. Very quiet village in the evening.

Staff is the heart of this pension in the heart of the nature. Also the pub is lovely, serving proper Czech cuisine. And there’s a playground and lovely goats and sheep all around.

Aparthotel Mádr offers accommodation in Modrava. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Every room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Very good place. It is clean and fresh. Comfortable and with care of children. Friendly and kind staff. Good breakfast. I can totally suggest the place for a family trip.

Within the Šumava National Park in the village of Horska Kvilda, Hotel Rankl ofers an in-house sauna, massages, and a Czech restaurant. Kvilda’s ski resort is a 5-minute drive away. We stay here 2 or 3 times a year. In the summer months, as well as the usual restaurant menu they have a BBQ on the terrace. Beds are always comfy with lovely bedding. Great breakfast.

Pension Calla is located just 50 metres from a private grassy beach on Lipno Dam. Guests can go swimming, windsurfing, yachting, fishing, cross-country skiing and ice skating at the dam. Wonderful location with beautiful view. Not too crowded with pretty private properties around
