It offers country-style rooms and a terrace with a panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps and the royal castles. Very good quality of the breakfast. The dinner was so delicious, specially the Pizza. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Very good sauna with heated swimming pool. Free parking. A table where to eat in the room. Perfect view.

We have also tried dinner from the restaurant and it was very tasty. Oberstaufen card is also great as one can use 3 Bergbahnen for free which is great. Despite of the negatives described below, we would definitely come back again and we can fully recommend this place.

This is an excellent hotel that I used in 2023 and was very happy to use again. A very high specification building with its large windows in all public areas and bedrooms making it feel spacious and light and airy. Very high quality bedroom and Alpine design which is restful and practical. Excellent mattress and pillows and a very high specification bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cold and hot food and beverages. The restaurant is across the road under the same ownership and with a discount for hotel guests.
