We went there to go to a festival at FERROPOLIS, but instead of camping there sleep at this silent, relaxing resort. When we arrived and checked-in, we did not ever want to leave this hotel again, even thought of just staying there a week. It is at a very large and serene lake, with a lot of things to do. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The restaurant is soooo good! The breakfast was amazing! The hotel bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get out of it. The balcony was huge! If you are seeking relaxation from stressful life, just go there during the summer and rest. The value/price is Incredible! Again a thank you to the staff!

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby! Surrounded by the forests of the Lower Harz region, the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch offers modern rooms, a large spa and a country-style restaurant. It is located close to Stolberg. We enjoyed a short romantic break. The location was perfect for this purpose. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the Harz, surrounded by a wonderful forest. However, it was easy to find the hotel and, as we were travelling by car, we were able to easily get around and visit Stolberg, the Rose Park in Sangerhausen and other interesting places. The hotel grounds are also incredibly beautiful. Although the lower park was closed due to the construction of the new swimming pool, our room nevertheless faced the front of the hotel grounds and we enjoyed the view undisturbed. The breakfast and dinner were super lovely with an excellent selection of food. Perhaps the restaurant should consider displaying the wine bottles when they only serve a glass of wine, instead of bringing a glass already filled with wine to the table from outside. The wellness area with swimming pool is excellent. I had a facial and a massage. And it lived up to the highest expectations. I would definitely do it again if I had a longer stay.
