The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable and beautifully designed. The dining room was lovely and clean and the breakfast very good without the overwhelming range of choices in many places. Everything was well laid out. More than this, the staff were so kind and friendly, welcoming everyone individually into breakfast, and they let me stay late in my room to do a webinar without charge and then waited to receive the key.

Offering a garden with pavilion and daily breakfast, this 200-year-old, family-run hotel in the Old Town district of Schleswig is just a 2-minute walk from the Sankt Petri Cathedral. It was just as cozy as expected from the pictures. The place had a nice and calm atmosphere and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

Also, since it was already pretty cold in this part of Germany, it was very pleasant to enter a warm room. In addition the outdoor sauna was a nice bonus!

Just a 5-minute walk from Kappeln Harbour, this 3-star hotel offers a central location, a spa area and colourful rooms with modern furniture and flat-screen TV. The staff, room, location and the breakfast were outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This historic hotel in Schleswig offers non-smoking rooms with free Wi-Fi and direct access to the Landesmuseum Schloss Gottorf museum. Beautiful building which backs onto the the grounds of the castle (over the river). Lovely area to sit outside in the evenings, and the bar was available for us to use. Our room also had a view over the gardens. Wonderful staff who were helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent.
