This family-run Art Nouveau hotel is centrally located in the city of Plauen. Hotel Alexandra features a wellness area with a sauna and massage treatments area available. The staff was most amazing - they responded to our call late at night and arranged a room just in minutes after I complained that another location we had reserved ignored our calls and left us behind the closed doors for the night. Hotel Alexandra has got all travelers need: comfortable beds, easy access from the highway, excellent breakfast and car parking. Even more, it is an architecture and design pearl. I definitely recommend you to everyone.

We arrived at 21:30 in the evening because we had problems on the road and it was impossible to enter the hotel. They close the reception very early, they don't pick up the phone or anser if you ring the door. We stayed 30 min outside in the middle of nowere, worrying that we will have to sleep in the car (Klingenthal is very small). Luckly we found place at Landhotel Gasthof Zwota close by! They really saved us. It was not very clear from booking that Walfish closes so early and that they have this strict check in policy. Also we were charged 50% of the reservation as if we didn't show up. So if you choose to book this place please keep in mind that you have to be there before 20:30, or you will not sleep!

Beautiful, cosy guest house in the historical regional building. Located on the top of the hill over Klingenthal. Very large room with nice equipment. Tasty food in the restarant and for breakfast. Amazing christmas decorations. Spending time in this place in Erzgebirge during snowfall was unforgetable memory.

The hotel is in the heart of the place. An old building between an open street and an alley. It has online check-in or direct on-site if you arrive before a certain time (I don't remember the exact time, sorry). The room was beautiful, I really felt in an old age with the furniture and decoration, but the modern bathroom (very nice too). They have a breakfast option in the same hotel restaurant, they also have a bar. Everyone was very friendly from start to finish. Highly Recommended.

The hotel offers an adventure pool "Aqua World" with 2 slides and a whirlpool. In the restaurant we offer a rich breakfast buffet and evening buffet with a fantastic view of the surrounding valley. It was all ok. Good value for money, nice pool. Good half board
