The castle hotel stands on the grounds of the former castle of Count von Daun, not far from the vineyards of the Ahr, Rhine, Moselle and Saar. Nice medieval hotel, good breakfast. Quiet.

This 4-star, sports and family resort offers rooms and apartments just outside Daun. Set in a large park, it is a good base for exploring the volcanic Eifel region. The domain including its facilities we're outstanding. Lots of space and privacy in the Ferienhausen. The facilities were divers and entertaining (swimming pool, wellness, mini golf, tennis) and the service meticulous from breakfast till dinner. We had an absolute blast discovering the Mosel area.
