Andelen Guesthouse is a real gem of accomodation on Æro! It's a very lovely, newly renovated guesthouse with a lot of charm. While some rooms have shared bathrooms, those are exceptionally nice bathrooms and not what you'd expect when you read "shared". There were also many small touches that made it cosy (the extra coffe/tea bar, etc). And of course Adam, the host, was very friendly and always had good recommendations. Bonus: the breakfast you could buy extra even catered to Gluten free diet.

I really appreciated that I was able to check in hours earlier than expected and then rent a bike for touring the area. The receptionist also provided me with maps of the island. The hotel is right in the center of town and convenient walking distance to everything. In addition to a shared bath, there are also sinks in the rooms.
