Birkende B&B’s simply decorated guest rooms feature wooden floors and a seating area. Toilets and showers are shared. Birkende was a wonderful place to stay while I was in Denmark for a conference! Conny was so welcoming and hospitable. When my travel plans got upended and I came in a day late, tired, jet-lagged, and hungry, she met me on the property and prepared a fabulous lunch of coffee, juice, meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads for me (because I had missed breakfast). This thoughtful touch to ensure the comfort of her guest was so sincerely appreciated! The room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed during my stay. The breakfasts were delicious and prepared early, so I could eat before flitting off for full days at my conference. And the property is peaceful and simply stunning (including their gorgeous grapevines and koi pond). It is well situated for a short drive through the beautiful countryside to both Kerteminde and Odense. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Ærø's individually decorated rooms feature a work desk and free toiletries. Some include a spa bath,. The hotel is broken into various buildings, and we stayed over the road from the reception area. It was a bit of a rabbit warren finding our room, but that kind of added to the fun. The room was spacious and very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities provided, which was a nice surprise. We did not have breakfast. Location is excellent for exploring the lovely town of Svendborg.

This is a great location. if you’re travelling across Denmark or destination all by itself. Great restaurant food was amazing in particular the rhubarb /strawberry ice cream soup desert.

Situated 500 metres from Odense Train Station, Comwell H.C. Andersen Dolce by Wyndham offers free WiFi and restaurant. The hotel lobby features sculptures which depict Andersen's work, and H.C. Andersen Museum is a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast was exceptional with high quality hearty as well as cereals as well as sweet components. Alkaline products like fresh carots and others were part of the choice. Even when the breakfast room was well-frequented, the atmosphere was really comfortable. The sleeping room was very good and the hotel was inside characterized by friendly brick architecture. Over average hotel architecture, indeed. It fits to the prosperous Odense. The hotel was close to the city and to most of touristic spots.

Overlooking the Great Belt strait, Nyborg Strand is a beachfront property just 2 km from Nyborg’s Old Town. Odense city centre is within 30 minutes' drive. The on-site spa offers a sauna, hot tubs and a rain shower area. A cold water basin, relax lounge and foot baths are also featured. Everything went well. We were satisfied with our rooms. We had dinner at the bistro which was superb! The waterfront location of this hotel is amazing for relaxed walks with our dog. Breakfast was solid but there could have been a wider variety.
