You can enjoy coffe and cake in the afternoon after a short walk in the gardens, or a drink in the evening. Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

Good bicycle storage inside and secure . Our room, #22 was large but without ambiance and right off the highway with traffic noise continually . Had A/C so we just kept the windows closed to decrease the noise . Our room was at the top is one of the narrowest and steepest staircases that we have experienced in a European Hotel . Only way out of the room was down the narrow stairs in an emergency or a fire . Really not a good idea or plan . Breakfast was good with several hot and cold choices .

The lush garden and surroundings offer opportunities for relaxing strolls. Lovely property with loads of parking. Beautiful large room - towels were particularly soft. Lovely breakfast with lots of local produce - highly rated the cheese and apple juice and the pate was especially nice. The shop, which is part of the facility, has a wide variety of items for sale and the butcher shop looked particularly inviting (sad we were unable to make use of this as we were travelling onwards).
