Centrally located in the touristic area known as La Mariscal, close to El Jardín Commercial centre, Casa Joaquin Boutique Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast in Quito. We love this small, very tastefully decorated, family hotel. We really are made felt like home here! The location in Mariscal is really great too.

Set in Cotopaxi National Park, 6 km from the entrance, Chilcabamba Lodge has comfortable rooms charming with rustic-style décor. Location was amazing with clear views of Cotopaxi volcano and surrounding volcanoes. Only a short drive to the National park entrance and some nice walking trails around the lodge, bonus having a trail to nearby trout farm for fishing. The food was exceptional especially the dinner (3 course meal). The staff even made us packed lunches for our hike up Cotopaxi Volcano which was exactly what we needed. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Especially Jesica who organised all our activities for us and helped out with everything - she spoke fluent English as well which was a bonus considering our Spanish wasn’t great! Even all the guides and drivers for the activities are extremely friendly and helpful which made the day tours so enjoyable. The room we stayed in was perfect. A large comfortable bed and the fireplace kept the room very warm and cosy.

Set in an impressive building only 4.5 km from Quito’s historic centre, JW Marriott Quito features a spa, a swimming pool and a fitness centre. Very clean, comfortable beds, very good amenities. Super friendly and very helpful staff who went out of their way to help us when we needed a doctor for our young granddaughter. Highly competent and efficient to support us, just lovely people, each and every one. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Fantastic and friendly little hotel that exudes the charm and spirit of Ecuador. Rooms are each unique and adorably decorated like a small in, not a hotel. The breakfast was really delicious and portion was generous. Many restaurants nearby.
