Each room here will provide you with bed linen and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. You can enjoy city view from the room and access the shared lounge and TV area. The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. It offers spectacular mountain views, tropical gardens with BBQ facilities and charming wooden bungalows. This hotel was a dream. It’s located in the middle of the mountains surrounded by voluptuous vegetation which immediately released our stress. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, working hard to make our stay outstanding. The price was fair and absolutely worth the value. An unforgettable stay, I plan to continue coming here anytime we return to Ecuador

The rooms in La Floresta Hotel feature private bathrooms and fireplaces. Some rooms have balconies. The property was very pretty with lots of flowers and trees in the main courtyard and around the hotel! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great! We also liked that you could book various tours from the front desk.

Spa Hosteria Miramelindo is 150 metres from Pailon Devil Cascade and a 20-minute drive from Tungurahua volcano and Llanganates and Sangay national parks. We loved our stay at this stunning and creatively designed hotel. Every corner was full of artistic charm, and the atmosphere was truly inspiring. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

An à la carte, continental or American breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. The hostel is located right next to the waterfall and thermal baths at the edge of town, which is nice and quiet. It’s only about a 15min walk from the bus station, and less than that to get to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. The staff are nice and helped us plan our time in Banos, including recommending an agency that could rent us good quality bikes for the waterfall route. We also enjoyed our breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer!
