Very nice place, on the other side of the island, maybe a bit complicated to reach if by foot, but it is completely worth it. Room was nice and cool (44 deg outside that day) and very colorful. I had dîner and breakfast there, it was very good, homemade traditional nubian food. To change from the very busy town, it is a place to go to definitely.

Located in the Nubian Desert on the banks of the Nile, opposite Elephantine Island, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract offers elegant rooms and suites. It features outdoor and indoor pools. We have always wanted to stay at this hotel and it fulfilled and exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful in the Nile Wing with a fantastic view from our double balcony. The staff were consistently kind and we were made welcome everywhere we went. Never ignored. The most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. By far.

Our stay at the Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan was everything we hoped for. The room was spotless and met all our expectations. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our honeymoon special with a thoughtful gesture. The location, right in front of the Nile River, was perfect, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it!

Situated in Gharb Sahel, a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile, Eka- Guesthouse sits opposite to the city of Aswan and overlooks The First Cataracts. It boasts air-conditioned accommodation. Excellent staying! Rawan at the reception was very helpful and kind :) The walking tour we took around the village with Ahmed was great. I loved the terrace, the clean&comfy rooms and the breakfast! Definitely recommend 🤙🏻
