Located in Cangas del Narcea in Asturias, Parador de Corias is set in an 11th century monastery. It offers an exhibition area including archaeological remains from the original structure. This was an exceptional property. It was beautiful, well maintained, historic with gorgeous upgrades. The staff was warm and accompanying, and excellent with our children. The food was also delicious. We loved everything about the stay.

Surrounded by mountains, Hotel Rural Casa Xusto is located in the small town of La Caridad. This 19th-century house features wooden floors and stone walls, and offers views of the garden. Our last day on the Camino and our chosen destination could NOT have been a better choice, just beautiful! Pepe who we guess is the owner greeted us with 2 extremely welcomed cold beers, and we talked road cycling with him as we are keen cyclists and he had pictures of him with Spanish cycling legend Miguel Indurain, which seriously impressed us, the room was fabulous and after a 32km hike it really was more than we could have hoped for with and one of the warmest, kind, conversational hosts we have met too..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Hotel Valle Las Luiñas is set on the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrimage Route and 2 km from San Pedro de la Rivera Beach. Rooms have a private balcony, flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Friendly staff, clean, beautiful room with a balcony, hot shower and lovely tub after a difficult hike on the Camino, and excellent authentic dinner options.

Hotel Villadesella is a typical Asturian country house, dating from 1819, set 1.5 km from the town of Ribadesella. It has a restaurant, and an outdoor swimming pool set in large gardens. Everything. The room, the bed, the views, the bath, the pool, my to-go breakfast for my early departure, and the staff! Absolutely incredible top notch service and amenities. I was so pleased to stay there and sad I had to leave.

Situated in the centre of Arenas de Cabrales, near the River Cares, famous for its trout and salmon, this is the ideal base for exploring Picos de Europa National Park. Lovely hotel in a beautiful building in a perfect location right in the heart of Arenas de Cabrales. Staff were just fabulous - so friendly and helpful! Facilities were great and everything was very clean.

Situated in the heart of Picos de Europa Mountains, in the small town of Cangas de Onís, Hotel La Cepada features free Wi-Fi and free private parking. The hotel is located close to the city centre (about 3 min by car), with a beautiful view from the top of the hill. Excellent service and very nice and comfortable room. It was a great start to our vacation and a great spot to visit the broader region.

Located in Oviedo’s historic centre, 150 metres from San Francisco Park, Eurostars Hotel de la Reconquista is set in an 18th-century building declared National Monument. Beautiful old property with an eye catching facade right downtown Oviedo. Within walking distance of a pedestrianized shopping district with terraces and restaurants, near monumental buildings and a shady well maintained park. Complete with free roaming peacocks. There was ample parking in the secure hotel garage which has an elevator into the hotel. Our room had comfy beds, a welcome tray of chocolates and a fridge with cold water. Christina deserves a commendation for her cheerfulness and service in the American Bar and assistance with room service. Gracias Christina! Lastly, this handicapped traveler found the hotel easily accessible.

This design hotel enjoys a fantastic setting overlooking the beach and sea in the charming, peaceful resort of Ribadesella, on the beautiful north coast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Fabulous position, easy to park, lovely view, hot shower, comfy bed, great staff and a nice breakfast
