Parking was conveniently located under the hotel. The rooms, restaurant and lobby are modern and clean and I found them very beautifully styled. You receive a wooden keycard for your room which I found a really nice detail. The breakfast was exceptional! Will definitely stay here again the next time I come to San Sebastian.

Pension Kursal is in a wonderful location in the less touristy neighborhood of Gros. 2 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from train and bus station and a quick walk over a bridge to old town. The Staff was kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. San Sebastian is the most expensive city in Spain but well worth it.

Perfect combination of hotel and wine cellar visit. The hotel is superb quality - modern, well maintained. Don't be misguided by the 1-star rating - it is much better than many 3 and 4 star hotels I have visited. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The wine cellar can be seen from the hallways and the atmosphere is wonderful and wine-themed. Do not miss a walking tour of the grounds, with the ponds, chapel, and memorial sites for members of the winemaking owner family. Great food as well as wine. Breathtaking views of the whole valley.
