A truly charming, family-run hotel where the hosts personally welcome every guest. We arrived after 10 PM, and the owner invited us into his kitchen to show how the breakfast cakes are made. His wife offered us chilled white wine and cheese—everything sourced from organic farms. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and cozy. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, and although we didn’t use it this time, there’s an outdoor pool. Free parking is available for all guests in the courtyard. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade bread, orange and lemon cakes, and a variety of organic products. I highly recommend this hotel—it’s clear the hosts truly love what they do.

Lovely, friendly welcome with safe garage space for our bicycles. Very comfortable room, coffee machine with pods and milk in the fridge. A complimentary bottle of cava in fridge. Reasonably priced minibar. Delicious breakfast that was set up half an hour early to allow us to make an early start on our bikes. Their La Vina restaurant opposite was very good for the lunchtime menu del dia. It was closed in the evening otherwise we would have gone back in the evening.

We were so impressed with this charming hotel that we are planning to go back and book it for a week to explore more San Lorenzo and the Escorial- I recommend Posada Don Jaime without reservations!

Situated in the Valley of the Fallen, a 20-minute drive from San Lorenzo de El Escorial, Hospedería Santa Cruz is an historical buliding in a unique location. I liked everything about this property .. location is worse than wonderful, clean, restaurant is delicious and not expensive, parking is free !! And not far from Madrid ( you need to have a car as there are no transportation between the property and Madrid ) easy access late in the night if you party or stay late at Madrid .. very well organized and a warm reception

Hotel De Martin is set in the heart of the San Lorenzo de El Escorial, 200 metres from the Escorial Monastery. This 19th-century restored building offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Great position in the beautiful town of El Escorial. We attended as a big group booking for a family wedding. What a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended

This mountain guest house is 100 metres from Cercedilla Train Station, 58 km from central Madrid. It has easy access to the AP-6 Motorway, and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful big room, very clean with good facilities.

El Hotel Florida se encuentra situado en pleno centro histórico de la ciudad, a escasos 50 metros del Real Monasterio de San Lorenzo. Location was right in front of Monastery and in the old town with lots of restaurants and bars around. Rooms were large and clean. Highly recommended. Staff super friendly and accomodating.
