Last time we had spent there only 1 night, but we had to come back. Once again, it was great experience. The cottage has all you need, especially atmosphere, own lake access, bbq, sauna, boat, etc, etc.

Aateli Lakeside Chalets - former Vuokatti Suites are peacefully located by Lake Nuasjärvi. This modern accommodation offers a private beach with a jetty. Lovely setting for a summer holiday. Lake is beautiful for paddle boarding. Great pool & sauna and mini golf. Nice restaurant, too. Apartment was very clean,stylish and had everything we needed. Great location to explore the area.

This property is on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant. Everything was exceptional. On our first night we had early dinner there prior to the opera. It was better than any restaurant & very reasonably priced. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Laura Kalle & the whole Bjorn family were very lovely & extremely helpful. We took a canoe out on the lake which was very peaceful, no one else there. 15 minutes drive out by of Savonlinna but easy to find & countryside is beautiful

Dating back to the 1800s, this charming manor is found in the Finnish Lake District, 7 km from Mikkeli. It offers an award-winning restaurant and elegant rooms with garden views. Breakfast at Tertti, at least until now, is the best Breakfast I had in all my life. So exquisite, fresh, and rich. Salmon, different sort of breads, butter, scrambled eggs (special made), different sorts of fish, different sorts of cheese, and much more, the majority of this treats, elaborated by them, at the Kartano (country house in Finnish). Special mention for Tertti's special Porridge which is from another world, so yummy, just for that, its is worth to pay a visit to this establishment. Staff is very kind, helpful, they make you feel as you would be at home, from the receptionists, the waitresses, the gardener, to the owner, who has been so helpful, giving us extra information about our interests on Finland, and always being concerned about our wellbeing. It is located not far away from Mikkeli, a reasonable size city, and at a stone throw of huge forests and lakes.

This hotel lies in the town of Nilsiä, in the recreation area of Tahkovuori. It offers free Wi-Fi, fine dining and free sauna access. Comfortable, clean, good location and looks very nice.

If you are looking for peace, scroll no further, you have found it here! We stayed in an apartment close to the water, we felt close to nature and a true sense of tranquility. The apartment sticks to the traditional wooden design with traditional Finnish textiles on the walls, floors, and table - resulting in a space that feels cosy and warm, no matter the weather outside :) We felt true hospitality from Pasi and Anneli. We will be back in the summer without a doubt.
