Salpalinjan Hovi is set in a charming, renovated school building, 10 minutes’ drive from Lappeenranta city centre. The flats are designed very tastefully, with an artist touch. This makes the stay very enjoyable. The house is has historic value (a previous school) and is located on the defense line (during II Word War) against Soviet Union. Thus there is historic spots to see.

This property is on a family farm, 12 km outside Savonlinna and 10 minutes’ walk from Lake Pellosjärvi. It offers a private beach, a lakeside sauna and a summer restaurant. Everything was exceptional. On our first night we had early dinner there prior to the opera. It was better than any restaurant & very reasonably priced. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Laura Kalle & the whole Bjorn family were very lovely & extremely helpful. We took a canoe out on the lake which was very peaceful, no one else there. 15 minutes drive out by of Savonlinna but easy to find & countryside is beautiful

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. The room we were given in was outstanding with an exquisite view over Lake Saimaa. This was the best view we had from a hotel in our trip through Scandinavia. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast had a large variety! The location of the hotel was perfect.

Situated 50 metres from Retretti Train Station and 100 metres from Lake Pihlajavesi, Harjun Portti offers cottage accommodation with a private sauna, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Amazing place to get together with group of friends (30 of us had stayed for 3 nights) in a quiet beautiful surroundings of the lake, pine forest, and plenty of things to do. Helpful and friendly staff supervised by the owner able to accommodate any requests in a timely manner 10 out of 10

We enjoyed the breakfast and the ability to wander around the property even after checking out! The dinner at the restaurant was one of the best we ever have had —- and we have been around :). We enjoyed seeing all the rental options for our family for next time!

This hotel is a hidden gem! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the neighbourhood was beautiful and food was excellent. We especially enjoyed jogging in the park near by, hotel gym and lovely breakfast.

This hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Joensuu Train Station and offers a sauna. Its air-conditioned rooms feature satellite TV and free 1 GB WiFi connection. Rooms are nice, Clean and with good space, The breakfast it's very diverse and offer variety , the amenities are on point. the establishment is clean in general, and the sauna it's quite impressive

Scandic Patria is 400 metres from the 17th-century Lappeenranta Fortress and 2 km from Lappeenranta Train Station. The rooms have a 32-inch TV. Gym and sauna access is free. Breakfast was excelent and had a wide selection. Hotel also had a gym and sauna, which was very nice.
