The stunning location of Lapland Hotel Äkäshotelli is well-suited to cross country skiers and mountain hikers. Enjoy spectacular views of snow-covered fields and hills dotted with pine trees. Very nice, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Am very satisfied with our stay here and would love to be back.

Situated 1.5 km from Äkäslompolo town centre, Kuerkaltio Resort offers apartments with a private sauna and a fully equipped kitchen. Koninjänkä Animal Park is 5 km away. Everything was perfect! The accommodation was fully equipped: sauna, fireplace, firewood, washing machine, dishwasher, and a clothes dryer! Everything is well explained! Sleds are also available at the reception! We had an excellent stay!

In the popular ski resort of Ylläs, LostStar Apartments offers modern apartments with private saunas just a kilometre from the centre of Äkäslompolo village. Very good location, next to the cross-country tracks. About 1 km to the shop/centre. It was, what we expected - tiny and clean accomodation, with basic equipment, sauna, kitchen. For 4 nights super. We wanted extend for whole week, but it was fully booked. We recomend it.
