Le Saint Michel is set at the foot of the largest fortified castle in Europe, Sedan Castle. The hotel features a gift shop and offers guest rooms with free Wi-Fi. We had a very spaceous twin room. Bicycles were put behind a closed gate. The breakfast is totally worth the charge.

Auberge de L'Abbaye is situated in the valley in the Ardennes Region. This former monastic site offers individually decorated rooms are en suite with free Wi-Fi internet access. The room was spacious and well equipped, with good beds and a comfortable bathroom. The hotel is very quiet at night. Breakfast is good value for its money, as was our dinner. It is very nice to sit on the terrace of the restaurant at night.

Kyriad SEDAN features a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Sedan, 2.5 km from the train station. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We were running very late and they figured out a way for us to get in our room after check in hours. We were prepared to sleep in the car but they went out of the way to make sure we could get into the room. Breakfast was amazing. Best we had on our 10 day European trip for the money.
