I attended an event in the hotel, so the location was of convenience to me. The hotel room as such was rather basic, but that was in line with my expectations for the Ibis hotel chain. The breakfast was really nice, also the food served in the hotel was delicious. The staff was nice too. Parking was plentiful and free of charge and the location was easily accessible from the highway.

Located in the heart of downtown Arcachon, the Grand Hotel Richelieu offers direct access to the beach and offers rooms with sea views. Don’t get me started. Ok. Loved the view , the bed, the decor, the staff, the breakfast, the lounge. The period wallpaper, fixtures , special touches were perfect. Coffee in room nice. The breakfast was superb.cozy breakfast room too. Also, hubby left his passport in the lounge. Someone came running after him from the hotel to return it. It was a dream of mine to come to stay after I had spied the room a couple of years ago on a walk on the quai. The dream came true. Thank you .

Located in the La Teste de Buch Business Park, this residence is 5 km from the seaside town of Arcachon. Stayed 2 nights. Good size room with balcony. Little kitchen with basic utensils, pans, cutlery was convenient to make/reheat simple meals. Big mall with supermarket behind the hotel. Receptionist friendly and spoke good english. Parking is free and safe on the hotel perimeter.
