Clichy seemed like a safe district, quiet, big police station in the middle of it, kindergarten and a what seems to be a junior school next to the hotel, not many restaurants compared to the city, however a few quite good ones, like Viasette for example.

I would definitely go back there. And the hotel is really close to Subways: place clichy and blanche and to buses: 68 and 74. It was really easy to move around with public transportation.
