Located in the heart of Lyon, La Loge Du Vieux Lyon offers self-catering accommodation in a historical building. The property is 600 metres from the famous Place Bellecour. Free WiFi is offered. Welcomed warmly with bon homie and everything in the apartment was so thoughtful and lovely - fresh breakfast, chargers, coffee machines and just such an adorable place. As soon as I arrived I wanted to live there, so cute 🥰

Hotel Eden sits in Praz, a 2-minute drive from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc's town centre and 100 metres from Flegere cable car. Most of the rooms have views of the Chamonix Valley or Mont Blanc. Super comfy bed, amazing view of Mont Blanc, nice staff, cool lounge.

The rooms have an 80 cm flat-screen TV with cable channels and free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms have a walk-in shower and private toilet. the room overlooking the mountains was exceptional. everything was clean and in it's place. the bar dining area was inviting. parking is available around the back. everything in town is walking distance. Definately coming back.

This town house converted into a hotel is set in a quiet dead end street in the heart of Chamonix. This situation is calm yet close to public transportation. Well restored and decorated in rooms, dining room, and salon. Excellent ski and boot store 2m from the front door. Staff were happy and so helpful, even preemptively (they saw i had bought wine and they quietly got 2 wine glasses and left them next to the bottle) etc.

When it didn't occur to you that "la ferme" means farm and you find yourself in French village swimming in the pool overlooking pastures, cows, sheep and goats 😊 Pretty unique experience. We stayed two nights with a baby and just relaxed there, didn't need to go anywhere. We enjoyed dinners prepared by the hosts.

This is the second time we have stayed here, which is probably recommendation enough! As before the couple who run it were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, croissants and home made jams. We were in a downstairs bedroom this time and had no problem with the internet. The shower was fine. There was a kettle in the room. The accommodation is within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants. This time we had managed to get a booking at Le Raisin just 5 mins walk away and in the Michelin guide. Access from the motorway is easy. We were heading south on our way to Italy and filled up with cheap petrol the evening before when we had come off the motorway.

Clean. Friendly owners. Good location. 10 minute walk to really nice auberge. Légny is a short bike ride away. Breakfast was a nice little continental buffet. We stopped for one night but wished we could stay a little longer. Love to come back for a few nights to explore.
