We had food in the hotel both nights and it was lovely. The first night in the cellar bar we had fish and chips and it was top notch. Second night we had our dinner in the Belleek restaurant for my wife's birthday and it was beautiful.Great selection of cocktails and drinks on offer with the most comfortable seats in the Water gate bar . The breakfast both mornings we had a great view of the Lough and the attention to detail from the staff was very impressive. We did the stairway to heaven which is a half an hour drive away and we came back to a beautiful dip in the pool as well as the outdoor Jacuzzi . There is also a steam room and a sauna. Definitely going back and I will make sure to bring the golf clubs and book the spa treatment well in advance.

Lovely cosy cottage in the centre of Hillsborough. The owners had a lovely welcome gift of a bottle of what happened to be my favourite wine and some buns, milk, chocolates, crisps, and water. These are really great touches. The cottage was warm, clean, and cosy. Netflix, etc, on the TV. Fluffy bathrobes were also provided, which was a bonus. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. Nice luxury feel to the bedroom. Hillsborough is a very pretty and quaint village. Some lovely restaurants nearby.
