Nestled close to the shores of Rutland Water, just 5 minutes’ drive from Oakham and a 50-minute drive from Leicester. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much effort for them. They were so welcoming as well. Food was delicious, location was superb and set on such beautiful green lands. There was plenty to do both in and out side.

The area is popular for sailing, trout fishing, bird watching and cycling. it is being improved/renovated very well under new owners. the lounge/bar area has been upgraded very tastefully and has a cosy log fire and the dining room is well presented and has lots of character. Good free car park close by. Lovely welcoming reception area.
