We couldn't asked for a better place to stay, warming studio with very comfy bed and the view from our windows were amazing. There's plenty of shops/pubs within 10min walk from James place. We forgot to thank you for the lovely Wales cakes James. We certainly coming back!!! It was perfect! Highly recommended. Thank you so much James& family.

Offering a restaurant with outdoor dining and a bar, Llanerch Vineyard is located in Hensol. With free WiFi access available and free on-site parking, Creigiau Golf Club is 10 minutes' drive away. The room was fantastic and the staff at the hotel were lovely. They made excellent recommendations and were always happy to help.

Located just 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Abergavenny, the Abergavenny Hotel offers private parking, a bar, and free WiFi throughout. Abergavenny Castle is just 400 metres away. Loved the location, the room and the staff was Great with capital G, thank you all.

They also thought of the little things that really make a big difference to creating a lovely experience/stay. If I'm back in Merthyr Tydfil, I'll book here again. Next time I may hire a car though, so I can get to Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley for hiking. Because I only had a couple days, and taking public transport takes much longer, I unfortunately missed out on the hiking that one can do around this area

Surrounded by Brecon Beacons National Park, The Celyn is a bed and breakfast set within a 300 acre working farm in the beautiful county of Monmouthshire. A perfect location in a beautiful, tranquil, idyllic setting. The accommodation was furnished so tastefully, was wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean. It complemented the Welsh scenery perfectly. Our host, Colin, gave us such a warm welcome and did everything to make our stay really memorable, including the delicious hearty breakfasts. We both agreed The Celyn was the best B and B in the world we have stayed at. As a Canadian driver the narrow lanes to the property were somewhat intimidating, but certainly worth it. Wales at its best.

Set in a 17th-century former farmhouse just metres from the banks of the River Wye, Parva Guesthouse is less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey. The whole place was just amazing, the owners, the food, the rooms, I will be definitely be back here.

The Mirador is a truly unique guest house with cosmopolitan décor, each room portraying themes such as Roman, Egyptian or Oriental. Central Swansea can be reached in 20 minutes on foot. This small hotel truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the warm and inviting Christmas decor, which added a delightful festive touch. The personal attention to detail was evident everywhere. My room had a Mediterranean theme—beautiful, unique, and designed with care. The fridge was stocked with an incredible variety of breakfast items: salami, bacon, cheese, yogurt, milk, fruits, Actimel, butter, cream cheese, cheese sticks, juices, water, croissants, chocolate croissants, biscuits, coffee, tea—you name it! It was absolutely amazing, and everything was refilled promptly upon request. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the bathroom boasted a truly special design that added to the charm of the stay. The TV even had a Netflix account ready to use. A special shoutout to Philip, who was an outstanding host! The entire family is incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels right at home. The communication was seamless and always pleasant. Philip responded immediately to any questions or needs, offering help and information that made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—it’s a gem! The location was also fantastic—close to two supermarkets and several restaurants, and only a 22-minute walk to the university.
