I've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay

The city centre hotel Hampton by Hilton Sheffield offers stylish rooms just a 4-minute drive from Sheffield Train Station. Hotel surpassed my expectations. Travelled quite a bit over the years and the buffet breakfast here was amongst the very best I've had. Room very comfortable and staff were great.

Mercure Barnsley Tankersley Manor Hotel is located for visiting Barnsley, Sheffield and the Peak District featuring a lounge and a restaurant. This was the 3rd time we had visited this Hotel and we love it every time! It was my partner's birthday and the lady on reception very kindly upgraded us to a Four Poster Room free of charge, which was a lovely surprise and the room was amazing, so thank you again! The Menu had also changed and there seems to be a lot more choice, the food was fantastic too! We will definitely visit again and hopefully soon for my birthday 😊
