Centrally located in Hydra Town and just 100 metres from the port, the traditionally built Guesthouse Alexandra features stone-built walls, iron beds and beamed ceilings. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Everything was just perfect. The guest house is located in a very nice and quite street a few steps from the port, restaurants and shops…has a beautiful patio, rooms were perfectly clean, very nicely decorated and the beds extremely confortable! Panagiotis, the owner has been so nice the all time, she really cares about her guests being happy and satisfied. Strongly recommended!

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. We really enjoyed spending our vacation at nereids! It’s beautiful, with friendly staff and with a wonderful view of the city and harbor. It’s at the end of town so nice and quiet but still very close to centre and swimming.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Miranda. The building, the patio, the breakfast, the staff were just perfect and made our stay at Hydra even better.

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. Beautiful building, our room was small but bed comfy and bathroom lovely with decent shower and plenty of room to put everything. Very traditional. Breakfast was included and an excellent variety. Best scrambled eggs ever!! All staff very friendly and helpful. 5 minute walk to the port

A buffet breakfast enriched with local products is served daily. Free WiFi is provided. Such pretty rooms. We had a balcony room and I just loved waking up in the morning to the roosters and donkeys.. this is a beautiful hotel to stay

Mistral Hotel offers the ideal sanctuary for rest and relaxation in between sightseeing and hiking around Hydra. The main attractions of Hydra are within easy walking distance of this refined guest house. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the port. The room was comfortable, and the staff were nice. We were charmed by the garden, and the breakfast was very delicious.

The select amount of rooms, combined with the tranquil location, allows each guest to enjoy peace and total relaxation throughout their stay. Guests are welcomed with fresh flowers. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
