Athina Guesthouse is situated in a quiet neighbourhood within a 5-minute walk away from the cosmopolitan and commercial port of Hydra. It is a traditional stone-made mansion with fully equipped rooms.... Perfect location, delightful room, quiet and tranquil, but only 8 minutes walk from Hydra Port. Masses of good restaurants in Hydra. There are also many excellent restaurants, beautiful coves, bars and beaches 10-15 minutes walk from the town. Evita is a wonderful host, very keen to help with everything from restaurant and beach recommendations to arranging luggage transport to and from Hydra port. The rooms are immaculately clean and well equipped (fridge, induction hob, glasses, plates, Nespresso coffee machine, cutlery and even a corkscrew! Evita and Maria’s care and attention to detail make the Athina Guesthouse a very special place. Fresh towels every day, new tea, coffee and breakfast supplies. Five stars +! We got back to Athens today, and we’re already planning our next stay at the Athina. It’s a lovely, lovely place.

Centrally located in Hydra Town and just 100 metres from the port, the traditionally built Guesthouse Alexandra features stone-built walls, iron beds and beamed ceilings. It was perfectly clean smelling soap ☺️

With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. We forgot a bag on the boat with our passport and he helped us to get it back. He saved our life! He also made our room birthday proof. I turned 30 and there were flowers and a bottle of cava. Best host ever.

Only 120 metres from Hydra Port, Alkionides Hydra is situated in a stone-paved courtyard with flowers. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Some units come with a kitchenette. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Alkionides to everybody looking for a stay in Hydra! We enjoyed the beautiful yard, the cozy beds, the cleaning-service everyday, the aircondition, the well styled-room and the central location!

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. Everything is very nice and comfortable

The hotel was just a 7-minute walk from the main harbor where we arrived from Athens. We got there way too early before check-in, but the staff greeted us warmly and the host went out of their way to find us an available room - something that doesn't happen often. The room was spacious and clean with a walk-in shower and lovely aesthetic touches. We had everything we needed, the area was peaceful with several good restaurants nearby. It was a really great place to stay, and I have only positive memories of our time there.

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. Great location, close to the port and a little off the most crowded places. Very comfortable beds and spacious balcony. Tasty breakfast and extremely helpful staff! Thank you for amazing hospitality!

On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical.
