Kritikakis Village Hotel is located in Ios, within 500 metres from the town centre and just 170 metres from the port. It offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi and it has a swimming pool and a snack bar. The room was very spacious, clean and cozy with a nice terrace with great views of the port and island. It had all the amenities we needed. I liked that the hotel was structured like a tiny Greek village. It was very close to the port and just a 10-15 minutes walk to chora. There is a bus station in front of the hotel, which makes it very accessible to the beaches and the city centre. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Continental breakfast is served in the morning. The family that owns this property went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. They picked me up and dropped me off at port. Yialos Ios Hotel is located within 300 metres of the port and right next to the medical centre. You can wander through the capital's streets to find shops, a wide selection of bars, restaurants and night-spots. You could also visit Panaghia Gremiotissa, the highest spot in the town. Arrive during the day for excellent views, or watch the sun go down for romantic and beautiful orange skies. Perfect, staff, owner, pool, services... everything was perfect. Fells like at home!

The Avanti is peacefully located in the upper part of the Chora offering splendid views of the town and partly of the Aegean Sea. In this serene setting you can comfortably relax by the swimming pool or have a drink at the bar. This place was amazing! Family run and everyone was so accommodating. The view of the town was amazing from the pool! I liked staying somewhere with a view of Chora instead of right inside the town but still being a short 5 minute walk away to explore. Restaurants and 4wheeler rental were all very close. 10 to 10 would stay here again.
