The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were all super friendly. This was one the best hotels that I have stayed in for character and I would thoroughly recommend it.

The pool was lovely to relax by in the afternoon.

Located a 19-minute walk from the iconic Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel offers an accommodation with a large outdoor pool in Borobudur. Surrounded by tropical greenery and view of Menoreh Hill, the property houses a fine-dining restaurant and a luxury spa centre. Free WiFi is accessible in all areas. This Hotel is pure perfection. From check in to check out it was a wonderful experience, and we do not believe it can get any better than this. Staff is highly competent, the rooms and the whole building are just stunningly beautiful, and if you want to see more, explore the outside... there is so much to see. We especially liked the afternoon tea, where you could sit at the rooftop bar and completely unwind. But we also enjoyed the food and drinks in the restaurant, the view from our balcony, the spa and gym...We already dream of coming back here one day!

Outdoor play equipment is also available at Blue Garden Yogyakarta, while guests can also relax in the garden. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. The property is 5-minute drive away from Borobudur Temple.

Some rooms have a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. The host is incredibly nice, and gave us a lot of useful information about the area, and also some some in site in to the local customs. The floating breakfast and the breakfast in general is amazing. I highly recommend this stay while visiting borobudur.

Centrally located in Jakarta, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta offers convenience to reach important areas of the city. It's a 10-minute drive to SCBD area and a 15-minute drive to Grand Indonesia Shopping Mall. Kuningan Business District is a 10-minute drive from the property, while Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is a 1-hour drive from Four Season Hotel Jakarta. The staff was incredibly friendly, they let us check in early, I had told them when I booked that it was my sister's birthday, when we arrived to the room they had personalized "Happy Birthday" greetings written on the window, and a delicious chocolate cake set out with card. Restaurant was very good, we got spa treatments which were wonderful! Pool area is beautiful. Room was large, huge bathroom and very comfortable beds!

Bike hire and car hire are available at the holiday park and the area is popular for cycling and walking tours. Guests can also relax in the shared lounge area. We had a great time at Didu's Homestay. Unfortunately far too short, but we will definitely be back. We were given a very warm welcome and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We travelled to Ijen on the very first evening. The tour was organised by the host and went smoothly. We had a really great guide who gave us lots of background information during the trip. Ijen really was an experience! I would say that you need to be reasonably fit, especially if you want to climb into the crater to look at the blue fire. We would also definitely recommend sturdy shoes and warm/rainproof clothing! The rooms and communal areas are beautifully and lovingly furnished. All in all, a great trip!
