Located a 19-minute walk from the iconic Borobudur Temple in Magelang, Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel offers an accommodation with a large outdoor pool in Borobudur. Wonderful trip to just relax and get away from it all. Was here for 3 days, 2 nights and feel like it wasn't enough. The food was amazing with picturesque views, the room and bed was so comfortable, and the staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful! Special mention for the spa, so fantastic we went all 3 days! Also recommend going to their sunrise resto on top of a hill for the great views.

Efata Homestay is located very close to the entrance of Borobudur. The house is in the busy area but very quiet inside. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's both safe and convenient. The hosts are a couple called Ika and Yani. They are so kind, friendly and considerate. Before I arrived, they had already sent me some basic information via messages. For example, they told me how to get to the homestay from the airport and reminded me to book my Borobudur ticket earlier. There is a very beautiful and comfortable garden here. The room is clean. Wifi is fast and stable. I extended my stay here for a total of 5 days because I enjoy my time here. The delicious local breakfast prepared by Yani is something I look forward to every day. I feel like I am at home and they are my family:)

We stayed in a log cabin located on Dagi Hill. We can see Borobudur when we look out. The environment is very quiet and blends into the atmosphere of the park. The price includes tickets and tour guide, and the staff service is very good. Recommended to stay here if visiting Borobudur. Paying extra for Picnic breakfast in the morning is also a very worthwhile experience.If you are planning to visit Borobudur, this is the best place to stay.
