The bungalow was clean and so comfortable (one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in on our travels) and on site, there is a communal kitchen area and a living area, and a pool. It felt so homely and just such great value for money! Love that there was a refillable water bottle and shower was great. Really great location too, just a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too! Their motto is a home away from home and it really did feel like this.

Amaris Hotel Margorejo Surabaya offers fresh and modern accommodation in Surabaya. The breakfast was amazing with many choices of Indonesian food. The hotel clearly supports Indonesian culinary for the guests. Amenities were good and we can get water from a dispenser outside the room. It was such a nice service that the guests don't need to ask for water from the hotel as the tap water in Indonesia was undrinkable.

Offering an outdoor pool and a peaceful, idyllic scenery, Kampoeng Joglo Ijen is situated in Banyuwangi, 44 km from Pemuteran. Staying here was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly efficient, and the location is exactly what you would imagine – surrounded by rice fields and complete tranquility. They organized a volcano excursion for us and did an excellent job. We also had a massage, which was perfect. Just a tip: if you’re someone who loves luxury, this might not be the place for you. But if you appreciate authentic places, then this is exactly where you want to be. The rooms were spotlessly clean and everyone was extremely friendly.
