From the location, to the facilities, to the food and the incredible staff our stay was outstanding. The staff was stellar in all ways. The accommodations were clean, beautiful, amazing. Breakfast, lunch and cream teas were excellent. We spent four days and truly did not want to leave!

I enjoyed everything during my stay, the breakfast was fabulous, made to order, very fresh! The rooms and common areas were spotless clean. The B&B is very close to shops, petrol station and 5min by car to the city center.

JBs Bar & Guest Accommodation is set in the centre of Kilkenny, 400 metres from Kilkenny Castle. 600 metres from Smithwick's Brewery Tour, the property is also 1.7 km away from St. I payed so little for it that I thought it would be a bit nasty, but I was positively surprised, it surpassed most of the other accommodations during my trip. Including some more expensive hotels. The room was really cozy. I liked the solid classical furniture and traditional hotel atmosphere which in my book beats the hotels with modern furniture that often ends up looking like hostels. The location was also great! Next to the Railway Station which is both great for train travelers and people who travel by car and can use the stations parking lot which was right next to the hotel. If I come to Kilkenny again I will pick this hotel again!

The 4-star Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is situated right in the heart of medieval city of Kilkenny. The property is only 2 minute's walk from main street, restaurants, shops and Kilkenny Castle. The breakfast was very good, plenty to eat, and staff were brilliant.

Very good central location and lovely comfortable spacious room. The breakfast was fantastic. Staff is very welcoming and courteous.
