Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. The grounds were great, a small creek running thru, sheep in the pasture, the Inn itself was beautiful. Very well cared for. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The management and staff were friendly and were happy to get us whatever we needed. The pub was where we spent many an hour where we were able to get some research work done. Fire in the fireplace every night. The dinner meals we had were yummy. Breakfast was also good with good choices. All said, it was a great four nights and we will be back!

Pauline is exceptionally warm and kind. We all enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodations were exceptional! We appreciated the small kitchen and breakfast foods provided. Highly recommend staying here. Easy to locate, good signage, lovely hostess, comfortable beds, and ample parking.

Amid the hills and lakes of Monaghan, this modern 4-star hotel has plenty of leisure facilities, a relaxing spa and the opportunity for outdoor activities. Very friendly and efficient staff from front desk to housekeeping to waiting staff. Had a lovely lunch in the bar. Food arrived quickly and was priced reasonably. We were facilitated with an early check in and we booked a taxi through front desk to a nearby wedding. Breakfast was freshly prepared and had plenty of choice.
