Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This property is the most beautiful, majestic space with breathtaking architecture. It is nestled into a hill with views of The Burren and the sound of flowing water is around every corner. There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

In Doolin, on Ireland’s West Coast, the Atlantic View House has views over the Cliffs of Moher. Free WiFi is available. The entire facility is very beautiful and relaxing. Breakfasts are tasty. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast room directly looks into the cliffs of Moher. We left some tip for the server at breakfast, later on he told us they donate all tips to a local charity. Will definitely be back to stay next time.

The Pipers Rest is set in Doolin, off the main road, just a 2-minute walk from two of Doolin's traditional Irish music pubs. All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilites and complimentary WiFi. Jacqui was welcoming and responded swiftly to our messages and requests. The B&B was cozy, clean and in a good location. We really liked our stay.

The location, the room presentation, the morning breakfast, and the wonderful welcoming staff were a delight. We were unfortunately pressed for time in Ireland and would have liked to stay 2-3 days, but our schedule would not permit it. It's close to the local village and pub which serves a cold beer and a hot meal (very important to an Australian). It's a small drive to the Cliffs of Mohr. The room was a nice size which allowed us to spread out.

Set in Doolin in the Clare region and Doolin Cave reachable within 1.1 km, O'Learys Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a garden and free private parking. Clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Convenient parking. Breakfast was amazing (not included in room rate) and our hosts very friendly and helpful. The room was fresh and the bathroom and amenities were top notch. Our favorite stay during our two weeks in Ireland.

With views over Doolin village and towards the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin View B&B is within a 10-minute walk of traditional Irish pubs and restaurants. Charming, cozy, comfortable and spotless! The rooms were decorated with thought and charm, the toiletries were amazing and the breakfast was excellent. A wonderful view on top of it all.

Situated in the coastal village of Doolin, the Blackberry Lodge offers free private parking. It is just 5 minutes’ walk from local pubs and restaurants, which are host to traditional Irish music. Lovely and spacious rooms and bath. Very comfortable. Self check in worked very smoothly with keys waiting with no issues. We just had the continental breakfast choice which was fine.
