Situated in Newtown, 5 minutes’ drive from Ballyvaughan and Galway Bay, The Waters Country House boasts over 40 acres of farmland at the foot of the Burren Hills. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

In Doolin, on Ireland’s West Coast, the Atlantic View House has views over the Cliffs of Moher. Free WiFi is available. The room was very spacious with an UNBELIEVABLE view of the cliffs. Great breakfast and very kind B&B owners

The Cliffs of Moher Hotel is a contemporary boutique hotel situated in the fishing village of Liscannor, Co. The place looked incredibly nice. Room was great size very spacious. The staff were beyond friendly. Would definitely stay there again if I went back.

The Pipers Rest is set in Doolin, off the main road, just a 2-minute walk from two of Doolin's traditional Irish music pubs. All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilites and complimentary WiFi. Jacquie greeted us outside of the regular check-in times and was super welcoming and gave great recommendations of things to do in the area. We are fans of sustainability and really like that The Pipers Rest e.g. tries to minimize food waste and hands out oder forms for breakfast the night before. We were really happy to also see vegetarian options on the menu! The food was very tasty, as well. (Just a suggestion for the future: eliminate the paper forms and maybe implement a QR code-based ordering system to make it even more sustainable). The room was great and had very comfy beds. Plus, the location is perfect - our main goal was to see The Cliffs of Moher. We wish we stayed a little bit longer to soak in everything Doolin has to offer!!! :)

St. Catherines is situated in 3 km from the traditional music village of Doolin, and 2 km from Doolin Cave. Free private parking and WiFi are available on site. Every room includes a private bathroom.... Marie, the hostess is wonderful. I felt like I was visiting an old friend. The location was perfect, away from town but close enough to run in quickly. Close to the sites we wanted to visit.

For us, it was a perfect stopover before visiting the Cliffs of Moher – close enough to drive there in the morning and explore before the crowds arrived. The room and the entire hotel were very clean. The breakfast was outstanding – delicious and made entirely from local products. We only wished we could have stayed longer than just one night :)

Very clean and cozy room with parking in front of the house. Wonderful and accommodating hosts – they even made pancakes for our daughter at breakfast. Highly recommended!

The B&B is beautifully decorated, warm, and comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Her homemade bread was the best I had in Ireland. Quiet place for sleeping, still close to Cliffs of Moher and Aran islands ferries. Thanks again Marie.
