LOVED the room! So spacious and gorgeous. The brewing station with tea leaves made me so happy. In awe of the Franco-Tamil architecture, so glad they preserved it so well. The property is gorgeous. The staff is so sweet and the chefs are so talented. You've got to try their non-veg Tamil thali for lunch <3 The cooking demos are so fun and educational. The location is perfect for a stroll on the promenade and the beach. They've a lot of tours/activities to do through the property. You can also rent an e-bike and cruise through the quaint lanes near the Sri Aurobindo Ashram.

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Location, service, ambiance and food were all top notch. Especially the service from staff across restaurant, housekeeping and front desk.

Situated in Pondicherry, 8 km from Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Le Pondy offers accommodation with a private beach area and a garden. We had a wonderful stay al Le Pondy. The rooms were delightful with a baranda outside with an overhead fan. The staff was attentive to our needs and wants. The message at the Ayurveda center was excellent. Walking on the beach to see the fishermen and especially the sunrise was memorable. We highly recommend Le Pondy.
