If you stay just a short time, take small suitcases, small stairs to first floor. But very romantic beautiful room!

This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland.

From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles. Amazing location and great dinner and breakfast! The hot pools were so nice!

So well stocked ( yoga mat for me, coffee machine for husband). Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort. Host came to greet us personally ( a first for me and I’ve booked many places like this) and came to check everything was fine a couple days into our trip. Sauna and hot tub amazing. No where can be more highly recommended.

It offers bright and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom with shower. Very cosy hotel with nice and comfortable room. Great ambience in the hotel lobby that comes with a nice snowy view in winter was exceptionally nice to hang out. Our room faces the town. Staff were helpful and friendly.
