As we were driving by the airport, we saw these strange looking houses on the other side of the lake and were hoping we would be staying in one of those. It was the case. We managed to get in super easily thanks to the code provided. We were lucky to have a nice and sunny day which added points to the amazing view. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathroom is correct.

Rooms feature Scandinavian minimalist design, original wood furnishings and uninterrupted views of the fjord and town. This guesthouse was my best stay during the trip. Amazing location, view, amenities and layout. It was a beautiful room. It was better than the fancier/pricier hotels that I stayed in.

Spectacular drive over the mountain pass and through the fjord to reach the cottage. Helpful and friendly host.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. This little house cannot be called luxury, but it is incredibly cozy. We had the best three days of our 2-weeks journey around Iceland in this place. It is especially well equipped with every little detail to make you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen has everything one might think of. Small but very cozy bedroom, where you feel like in a cradle and don't want to leave. Thank you very much to the owner who has thought of everything with love and care! Very much recommended!!!
