Set in a characteristic wooden house, Við Lónið Guesthouse is an accommodation in Seyðisfjörður. Great hotel directly to the rainbow street and beautiful church. Seydisfjödur byitself very quite village, maybe in March because of not all opened infrastructure not completely ideal. But must be really really beautiful from spring - autumn. If you stay just a short time, take small suitcases, small stairs to first floor. But very romantic beautiful room!

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Best place we’ve stayed in Iceland.

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. Amazing location and great dinner and breakfast! The hot pools were so nice!

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. Fabulous cabin. So well stocked ( yoga mat for me, coffee machine for husband). Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort. Host came to greet us personally ( a first for me and I’ve booked many places like this) and came to check everything was fine a couple days into our trip. Sauna and hot tub amazing. No where can be more highly recommended.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Very cosy hotel with nice and comfortable room. Great ambience in the hotel lobby that comes with a nice snowy view in winter was exceptionally nice to hang out. Our room faces the town. Staff were helpful and friendly.
