Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Everything went well. We were at the hotel for four days. Hotel is centrally located for activities in the region. Rooms were spacious with great view. We liked being able to walk out on to our private terrace. Staff was efficient and warm.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. Our stay at Hotel Laxa was fantastic! The room was compact yet functional and the view of the lake and mountains was magnificent! The tasty breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and the team was quick to clear tables and efficiently manage the buffet. The hotel staff’s exceptional hospitality added a personal touch to our experience.

First of all wow the cottages were super cozy with floor warming. (I love that). Everything was nice and clean and the beds were comfy. There's not much else I can say about it no negative things. And then the main building wow. We were greeted by super enthusiastic staff and they were so friendly. They asked us about our vacation and our plans. And they even gave some good recommendations. Also when my friend her snow boots got torn up in the front and in the back they had DUCKTAPE :D. So she could fix it. Ducktape fixes anything. And you could pet the cows :D. Also a good recommender is the breakfast boi was it Tasty and most of the products were produced locally

This family owned hotel is located at 3,8 kms away from Godafoss waterfall, and offers modern guest rooms with private bathroom. Free private parking is available. A gem of a place near Godafoss waterfall! Very comfortable and clean and the floor plan of the room was well thought out. Complimentary tea, coffee and an electric kettle were provided. Blackout curtains were a HUGE plus (one of only two places during our trip that had this!). Breakfast was very good (there were hard boiled eggs!) and being able to use the breakfast area as a kind of communal lounge was much appreciated. Patrizia, the staff, was very friendly and accommodating and it was very nice interacting with her! One of the best places we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. Highly recommended!

Lovely place with a warm welcome from our host (not so usual in Iceland), surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, horses and sheep. 15 minutes away from Akureyri. Excellent breakfast (homemade jams) and dinner (with the lamb coming from the farm) prepared by Elisabeth, cookies and coffee/ tea available at any time. Basic room but with everything needed, very clean and comfortable.

Laxhús is situated in Laxamýri, 85 km from Akureyri. Free private parking is available on site. Husavik is 8 km away. All units feature a flat-screen TV. Some units have a seating area and/or terrace.... Excellent small but big enough house with all you need for a comfortable stay. Descen cleanliness and very nice view. Highly recommended.

Excellent location. Close to a lot of points of interest in Myvatn, Godafoss, etc. Lovely town. Has all kitchen essentials. The town also has a restaurant that serves tasty food.
