We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Each cabin has a well-equipped kitchenette with a dining area. Guests can relax in the lounge with the TV, or outside in the private hot tub. Little touch on having some basic essentials like coffee, oil and sugar all ready in the kitchen is a rare sight. Clean and nice stay. Hot tub easy to use. Definitely would come back and recommend.

Situated in Gardur, 48 km from Keilir Golf Club, Garður Apartments features a garden and views of the sea. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The guest house has family rooms. My friend and I stayed here for one night as a base for visiting the blue lagoon and returning our rental car to the airport early the following morning. It was perfect and had everything we needed, it was one of our fav places we stayed on our entire trip. There was plenty of towels and toiletries supplied, more so than bigger hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, and the kitchen/tv are awas comfy. Beds were very comfy and spacious bathroom.

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool.

The garden's relaxing thermal bath is made from washed-up ocean stones. don’t hesitate to book this place! the hosts were incredible and very friendly, the acclamation was so clean and had interesting designs inside. the hosts were very communicative and gave great recommendations for our trip. this is the perfect spot to stay to explore the area and go to the blue lagoon. I recommend spending a night or two here before you leave Iceland (very close to the airport). the hot spring rock pool isn’t he backyard was amazing as well! highly recommend this wonderful place :)

Just 7 minutes’ drive from Keflavík International Airport, this B&B features an outdoor hot tub and a furnished terrace. WiFi and parking are free. Beautiful place and breakfast with lovely owner ,and tub was fabulous and so warm under the stars and northern lights Thankyou

This boutique hotel is next to central Keflavik’s picturesque marina, 3.5 km from Keflavik Airport. It offers free WiFi, free on-site parking, as well as a rooftop sitting pool to relax in and enjoy the surroundings. Everything was absolutely perfect! The hotel was spotlessly clean, with a stunning view of the bay that made our stay extra special. The service was outstanding - everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious – beautifully served by the staff, with fresh fruit, creamy skyr yogurt with muesli, and a lovely selection of fish and cheese. It was the perfect place to relax after a long flight and start our Icelandic adventure. Highly recommended!

We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms. Comfortable, fresh, stylish room, better than in pictures; everything works well; there is bathrobe and comfortable areas to relax in the room; nice view from top floor; quiet hotel; great restaurant Library downstairs

Keflavik International Airport is 20 km away. Everything was clean and comfortable to stay. We will recommend this place to everyone. Very closed by Blue Lagoon, volcano for hiking.
