We had an amazing stay at this place! The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. Probably the coziest hotel we have ever visited. As soon as we entered all our senses were positively affected(e.g very nice design, the smell of home made bread being baked for breakfast, nice soft music etc). Very comfortable bed and all details in the room were carefully thought with great taste. The stuff was extremely polite and helpful. The best breakfast we had in Iceland.

Arnarstapi Cottages is located in Arnarstapi, Snæfellsbær. The property also has a terrace. Each room is fitted with a patio with views of the mountain. The cottage was nice and clean. It is very convenient that you can check in on your own so late check in is not a problem. There is a nice restaurant nearby (Stapinn) and their soup was delicious, especially after such a long day.

Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive. The room was a bit small but satisfied me as a solo traveller. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were very good. It is near the Black Church.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. staff are very friendly. we were forced to stay one more night because roads are closed due to weather condition. we asked the staff a lot of questions and they are very helpful to address our concerns. hotel manger is also helpful on this matter. very appreciate.
