The rooms were both very clean and smelled fresh. The shared bathroom was also extremely clean. Since one of the rooms we booked had a private bathroom, the whole family showered there (great water pressure; very hot water too!), however, the shared bathroom seemed to be very clean too. There was a hot tub outside for guests to enjoy, and the property is next to a beach where you can spot birds.

Cozy place, well heated, very nice view, very quiet, nicely furnished, comfy beds, only a few km from the next village, where we got nice breakfast at the bakery and had delicious dinners at both restaurants.

We were the only guests at the house so we don't know how it is when it is full of guests. But our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful - having breakfast with them every morning was no only a pleasure, we learned a lot about life on their farm and in Iceland in general. We highly recommend staying here!

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. What an absolute hidden gem of a place. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. Guðrún Björg is the sort of host that others simply dream of being. Every single detail has been thought out, she is a warm wealth of information about the area, and someone who truly cares about making your stay and experience as magical as it could be. The meals we enjoyed were also exceptional - lamb sourced from the property, and cod caught by her sons and husband, and freshly made waffles in the morning - what more could you ask for? This place is worth every penny and the view from our cottage was just tops. Go - stay here - relax - enjoy!

Stóra-Vatnshorn is located 500 metres from the historic Eiríksstadir site and 17 km from Búdardalur village. It offers holiday houses with free WiFi access, private kitchen facilities and lake and mountain views. Very clean. Had everything you need. The kitchen is great, you could store and cook anything you want. Bathroom facilities were great and with plenty of room. Clothes washer worked well.

All guest rooms at Harbour Inn - Guesthouse have access to shared bathroom facilities. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes are included. Even though check in was late we were allowed to leave luggages In our room early on. The staff was very helpful and even provided a packed sandwich for breakfast since we were leaving early. Lovely views and clean.

My wife and I arrived fairly late (8:30 pm), and we found that the bathroom was too difficult to access, given her mobility issues. I had reserved a room with shared bath, but had not considered that the toilet would require several stairs. The host sent us to a nearby hotel that had an easier toilet access, without any extra charge. We were very grateful for this. The facility looked very nice with a superb scenic view.

Private bathrooms are featured in the bright, basic rooms at Country Hotel Heydalur. You enter each room from the outside. The accomodations and establishment are very nice. The whole feeling of this place is very unique. It's not just a place where the views are amazing, but also a farm where you can see horses and also 2 very nice dogs. You have a hot sprint outside and inside. We've been in Iceland 3 times and here we ate the best food from all the places. This guesthouse is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. I will not be surprised if in the future people will visit the west fjords only to stay here. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you so much for having us. Wished we stayed longer!

The holiday home has a children's playground and a hot tub. The area is so quiet and peaceful, and the view is amazing. The cottage is very spacious and has a great terrace. We arrived early to catch the creamery open as well (open 13-17), and the ice cream was worth it. Communication was easy with the host, and everything was smooth with the check-in/check-out.

Hraunfossar’s waterfalls are 15 km away. This wonderful place will always remain to me the first place where we witnessed the northern lights. But apart from that, the guest home is homely and inviting, the rooms are cozy with a private sink for brushing teeth, and our host and hostess were very welcoming people. We can only recommend!
