The room where we stayed for two nights was outstanding and brand new. Actually, it was more a small private house than a room, with two adjacent living rooms, two bathrooms, one of them behind the bed very large and futuristic with several sources of water and including changing lights. The room is typical of Matera, almost with no windows. The door is right in one of Matera streets so you immediately walk into the amazing site of Matera. This room is outside the main building where the other guest are and where breakfast is served. The breakfast is very good. All the staff very helpful and educated. The property belongs to a family, several of the member manage it.
